Every week partners join us online at the Partner Forum to hear what is new, what is coming and what we are talking about. On Tuesday 6 October, Martyn Padden, Head of Product, took partners through the Q3 releases and what is coming in Q4, followed by a demo of the new cross sell tool. Here is a short round up. The full slides, the session page and the recording have everything in detail.

Trust and Verification

Liveness checks are passing twice as often as ID uploads: a 64% pass rate, against 33% for ID document upload since launch. After a rebuild of the photo ID upload page's copy and layout, the ID pass rate rose 10% period on period and now stands at 43%.

Also live this quarter: clearer media and photo ID pages, incognito settings, and immediate chat room access for members who have passed a liveness check.

Monetisation: Boosts

On average, Boosted members receive 72x more profile views and 10x more site messages than the same member receives unboosted. Since Boosts launched, total daily consumable revenue is up 65% and revenue from one time purchases is up 97%.

Discovery and Connection

  • Bio Quiz: 10% more media uploads per registration. Members visit their own profile around five times a session, so prompting them after signup works harder than adding more signup steps.
  • Voice notes are live: members can record, upload and share voice notes on their profile, in one to one threads, in group chats and in chat rooms.
  • Plus: active filters now shown on advanced search results, new Excite and Affinity interest sets, and Thursday.com events.

Three Tests, Three Decisions

Every change goes live with a success condition written before launch, and the result decides what happens next.

  • Shorter signup on DP2 (15 steps cut to 11): registration completion rose from 74% to 79%, but volumes were too low to be significant, so the test is being rerun on The Adult Hub with more traffic.
  • Active filter display on advanced search: fewer upgrades from search, but higher engagement and more members going through to profiles. A second version will simplify the options and rework the design.
  • Qdrant matches stack (90/10 control and test): a higher yes rate but fewer clicks. The flow has been rebuilt so quality profiles are mixed through the stack rather than shown first, and the test is still running.

In Development Now

  • Member experience: themes, advanced search improvements, matches interruption for VIP, member availability control and a better Spaces design.
  • Trust and safety: couples liveness checks, screenshot blocking in the native app, and an optional setting to require a liveness check at signup.
  • For partners: a free cross sell template, a cross sell campaign link, banner templates for global brands, and design improvements and fixes for cross sell.

Around the Toolkit

Barry shared what is new around the toolkit. Grok Bot now works with the HubPeople connector and the toolkit. The help site has been simplified to one What's New page and one Videos page. Composio can be used as a connector for services like Google Search Console, and you can now ask Claude to send feedback straight to HubPeople.

In the open discussion, partners raised using Google's APIs to pull in data such as search data, issues after the spam update, and AMP page issues.
